Formative journey
Responding to one’s vocation is to pronounce one’s “Here I am” to the Lord, as Mary did to the words of the Archangel Gabriel.
The source of this response is the encounter with Christ, the only one who has the words of eternal life. Only in dialogue with Him, in patient and humble discernment, is it possible to grow towards holiness in that path that the Lord has thought of for us.
Consecrated life is one of these paths that leads to giving one’s whole person to Christ, the Only Love, because chosen and loved by Him. From this relationship of love comes the impetus to be a continuous gift to our brothers.
The journey that leads to consecration takes place in different stages and is always “a roped journey”: as Little Daughters we make ourselves traveling companions of the young people in an attitude of listening in the light of the Gospel.
Vocational accompaniment
It is the time in which the young woman, through assiduous listening to the Word and the comparison with a spiritual guide, decides to dig into her heart to arrive at a precise life choice. It is the time in which one experiences the beauty of committing one's freedom to God, in the confident certainty that He desires our full joy. One gets to know more closely the consecrated life as it is witnessed by a concrete community, according to a particular charism to verify if that could be the place where the Lord calls.
Aspirancy and Postulancy
This time offers the young woman the opportunity to see the lifestyle of the Little Daughters in the concreteness of daily life. This style of sharing leads to knowing the identity, the style, the mission that animates our communities, offering valid help for further discernment on one's own calling.
Novitiate
The young woman is called above all to deepen her spousal relationship with Christ in an atmosphere of greater prayer and silence.
The novitiate lasts two years at the end of which the first religious profession is expected.
Juniorato
The newly professed is called to deepen the motivations for her choice of consecrated life; fully inserted in the Congregation, she is entrusted with apostolic tasks for which she is prepared with adequate training.
