Giving hope
“We take care of the elderly with particular attention to those who are alone and marginalized. In their faces we encounter Christ, marked by human frailty and at the same time we are for them the expression and gift of his love.
Promuoviamo la “cultura di un’anzianità accolta e valorizzata”, “patrimonio inestimabile di testimonianze umane e spirituali”, che con la ricchezza della «sapienza del cuore» è un grande contributo all’evangelizzazione.” (RdV 78)
We promote the “culture of an old age welcomed and valued”, “an invaluable heritage of human and spiritual testimonies”, which with the richness of the “wisdom of the heart” is a great contribution to evangelization.” (RdV 78) “With our presence as consecrated women we can and must instill trust and hope so that the painful situation becomes an opportunity to open the heart to the “horizons of divine life”. We help every suffering brother to encounter the face of the Father’s mercy, so that he can discover the particular mission entrusted to him: to be an “active and responsible subject” of the kingdom of love” (RdV 79)
